Training in Psychiatry

Postgraduate Training in Psychiatry

The Maltese Association of Psychiatry (MAP) plays a central role in the Postgraduate Training of medical doctors specialising in Psychiatry in Malta.

The MAP is represented on the Postgraduate Training Committee. This committee has the important role of ensuring that training is up to the required standards to guarantee the highest possible level of competence and professionalism of Psychiatrists who complete their Specialisation Training in Malta.

To this end the MAP has created the current Curriculum for the Malta Postgraduate Psychiatry Training Programme and continues to work with the Postgraduate Training Committee to improve training delivery in Malta. Below you can view our most recent curriculum:

Trainees can login to their MAP account to access trainee resources here.
