Conference 2025

Embracing Neurodiversity
2025 Annual Conference of the Maltese Association of Psychiatry
Old University Campus, Valletta – 16th & 17th October 2025

The Maltese Association of Psychiatry welcomes participants to its 2025 Scientific Conference, Embracing Neurodiversity, in Valletta. The event highlights a neurodiversity-affirming approach in psychiatry, recognising conditions like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia as natural variations of human diversity. The conference promotes respectful, strengths-based, and person-centred care, while addressing clinical, ethical, cultural, and social aspects. Through keynotes, panels, and workshops, it aims to elevate neurodivergent voices, foster equity, and encourage innovative support models.
