The Maltese Association of Psychiatry’s 4th Annual Conference: Suicide Prevention & Self Harm Behaviours

One of the MAP’s objectives is to promote continuous professional development and the highest level of professional competence of psychiatrists in Malta. Our 4th Annual Conference was organised for this very purpose and it attracted numerous professionals to enrich their knowledge on Suicide & Self Harm Behaviours in order to promote a life worth living.

The Conference took place over two days and included numerous talks from professionals of different backgrounds exploring the topic from a holistic point of view as well as a number of workshops led by our keynote speakers.

The Conference also featured a Trainee competition where professionals in training had the opportunity to showcase their research carried out locally on any subject related to Psychiatry. This included both Oral and Poster Presentations and the winners were chosen by our Keynote Speakers.
