MAP Position Statement on Cannabis Legislation

Cannabis is the most commonly-used illicit substance among Maltese youth.[1] Regular cannabis use is associated with increased risk of schizophrenia, and by impacting brain maturation, may also negatively interact with depression, bipolar mood disorder and anxiety disorders.
